Harcot Apricot
Canada's Most Dependable Apricot
The Harcot apricot was developed in Canada specifically for cold-climate reliability — and it delivers. Large, sweet, freestone fruit with beautiful orange-blush skin, and a track record of consistent production even after tough Ontario winters. If you've ever wanted to grow your own apricots, Harcot is where to start.
Why Gardeners Love It
- 🌱 Canadian bred for cold climates — one of the most reliable apricots for Ontario growers
- 🍑 Large, sweet freestone fruit — beautiful orange-blush skin with rich, sweet flavour
- 🌿 Self-fertile — one tree produces a good crop on its own
- 🌿 Consistent producer — reliable harvests year after year
- 🌱 Supplied bare root — plant in early spring for best results
Pollination
Self-fertile — one tree will produce on its own. For a significantly larger harvest, plant alongside Harglow Apricot, also available at Catkins Nursery. More pollinators = more bounty!
